Women job-seekers, take note: Corporate America wants you, and they’re willing now more than ever before to do more to make you want them.

According to “Bringing Girls into Corporate America,” a recent survey by Arthur Andersen, teenage girls weren’t at all excited about working for the nation’s leading firms.

“They have a perception that working in corporate America is almost like a ‘Dilbert’ cartoon,” explains Karen Kurek, managing partner of GROW—Growth and Retention of Women—at Arthur Andersen. “They’re thinking the small-business area and the public-service arena is where they can be more successful.”…
