About the Principal

Mary J. Mallett, a Certified Personnel Consultant, has been in Financial Executive Recruiting for over 18 years. She is a Senior Member of the National Banking and Financial Services Network, spearheading the NBFSN Internet Committee. As a Board Member of the NC Association of Staffing Professionals (NCASP) for over 15 years, she is Vice President and serves on the Executive Board of Directors. She conducted CPC Training for several years and now is serving as Chairperson for the Membership and Regional Event Committees. She has been the Newsletter Editor for over 10 years and was Conference Chairperson for the Millenium event featuring the merger of NCASP and NCATS. As an active member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Mary was selected to sit on the Economic Development Council promoting growth and expansion of Small Business Owners.

Mary created SearchPro over 18 years ago with impressive resources and the utmost integrity in order to provide innovative staffing solutions to the Banking and Financial Services Industries. Although Trust, Investment Management, Private Banking, Wealth Services, and Corporate Lending have been the primary focus, their specialty has expanded to encompass all areas of expertise within the Financial Services Industry.

As a native of Maine and a graduate of the University of Maine in Modern Languages and Education, Mary taught high school French and English for several years before launching her Executive Search Business in Charlotte, NC. She also has a recruiting office in Baltimore, MD led by her seasoned recruiting colleague, Kathleen Phillips. Mary works from her summer office in Maine during July and August each year.
